Sidney's amusing places
I have never been to Sydney but I have no doubt that it is a city full of magical places and plenty of things to do. I have seen many videos of people who have visited the city and they only have positive reviews. That's why I really want to discover all Sydney hides and there is no better way than doing it in this blog.
🌼WELCOME TO THIS ADVENTURE !!!🌼
One of the places that most attract the attention are the beaches that it has, in particular the Garie beach.
Tucked deep in the Royal National Park, is one of Sydney's most secluded beaches. In winter, you can even see whales passing close to the shore.🌼 PODCAST

🌼 ART GALLERY OF NEW SOUTH WALES
This ceramic pot was created by Gleen Barkley in 2020. I’ve chosen this art piece because I love the colors that the autor selected and the form is awesome. Moreover, this year I’ve started ceramic classes, so I know that doing this things is difficult and you need a lot of patient and dedication. When I see this colorful piece of art, conveys peace and relaxation, that’s why I would like to have one in my bedroom. Probably, I will put some flowers inside.

🌼 Darling Harbour
Darling Harbour in Sydney is one of the most exciting places I’ve visited, offering so many different experiences. For me, the highlight is the SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium, where I felt completely immersed in the underwater world. Walking through the glass tunnels surrounded by sharks, rays, and colorful fish was thrilling. I couldn’t stop looking around in awe. It’s such a unique experience that makes you appreciate the beauty and diversity of marine life.
Another spot I loved was the Chinese Garden of Friendship. This was my favorite part of the trip because it’s so peaceful and beautiful. Walking along the winding paths, hearing the soothing sound of waterfalls, and watching koi fish swim in the ponds made me feel calm and connected to nature. The traditional Chinese design and serene atmosphere were such a contrast to the lively energy of the rest of Darling Harbour, and I found myself wanting to stay there longer.
Overall, Darling Harbour has something for everyone, but for me, the balance between exciting activities like the aquarium and relaxed spots like the garden makes it truly special. If you’re visiting Sydney, I highly recommend spending time here!

🌼 The Rocks
The Rocks Markets are a vibrant and exciting part of Sydney, open exclusively on weekends from 10 am to 5 pm. These markets are perfect for discovering handmade crafts, unique art, and delicious local food, making them a must see for both tourists and locals. To reach The Rocks, it’s easy to get there by bus, with convenient stops at Bridge Street or along Alfred Street, both just a short walk from this historic area. Once there, you’ll find a variety of shops and attractions to explore. One store that I find particularly fascinating is Fluevog Shoes. Known for their bold and innovative designs, Fluevog creates footwear that is as artistic as it is functional. Their focus on creativity and quality makes them stand out, and I’d love to experience their quirky and stylish products in person. Overall, The Rocks offers an incredible mix of history, culture, shopping, and food, making it a place that has something for everyone. The markets, combined with easy access and unique stores like Fluevog, make it one of Sydney’s most enjoyable destinations.
🌼 Royal Botanic Gardens
The Royal Botanic Garden Sydney offers a bench dedication program, allowing individuals to commemorate special moments or loved ones. The cost for dedicating a bench ranges from $12,500 to $19,500 for a ten-year period, depending on the selected location within the Garden or The Domain. This dedication includes a commemorative plaque, and at the end of the term, there's an option to renew the dedication at the prevailing rates. Regarding membership, the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney provides various ways to support, including becoming a member. Members of Foundation and Friends receive a copy of the The Gardens magazine every 3 months. For precise details, it's recommended to contact the Garden directly or visit their official website. One of the remarkable plants featured at the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney is the Wollemi Pine. Often referred to as a "living fossil," this tree was believed extinct until its discovery in 1994. Its unique appearance and ancient lineage make it a significant highlight of the Garden's collection.
I have chosen the Wollemi Pine because it is a very special tree. People thought it was extinct, but in 1994, scientists found it growing in a secret location in Australia. This makes it like a "dinosaur tree" because it has been around for millions of years. It has unique, bumpy bark and soft green leaves that look different from other trees. I think it is amazing that something so old is still alive today.

🌼 Sydney tower
After exploring the official website of the Sydney Tower Eye, I found the SKYWALK section to be the most interesting. This experience allows visitors to step outside onto a glass-floored platform at 268 meters above the ground, making it the highest outdoor adventure in Sydney. From this incredible point, you get breathtaking 360-degree views of the city, including iconic landmarks like the Sydney Opera House and Bridge in the distance.
What makes this section particularly fascinating is the thrill factor, walking in the open air at such a great height is both exciting and nerve-wracking. The website describes it as a once in a lifetime experience, and I can see why. It’s not just about the view; it’s also about the adrenaline rush and the sense of accomplishment that comes from stepping outside your comfort zone.
Another reason I find this section engaging is the interactive elements. The experience is guided by experts who provide fun facts about Sydney’s history and architecture while ensuring the safety of participants. There are also photo opportunities, allowing visitors to capture unforgettable moments against the stunning skyline.
If I ever visit Sydney, this would definitely be at the top of my list. You can check out more details about the SKYWALK experience here: Sydney Tower Eye - SKYWALK.
